postheadericon Holland’s Response to Lengthen Liftgates Operation

We cannot ignore the tough operation done by liftgates during the loading and unloading of cargo.  Manufacturers are aware that electric-hydraulic system like liftgates necessitates proper attention and handling to keep them working well.  The functions of lift gates require appropriate attention and consideration to keep them in good shape and in good working condition.  Holland is aware that liftgates are exposed to worst and tough environmental and operational conditions. In this kind of situation, some consumers are threaten that poor performance of the liftgate may arise due to battery problem.  Manufacturers are aware of this that is why they are addressing ways in improving their products.  Manufacturers are also stressing additional attention to routine or regular maintenance to help keep a liftgate in good form and convey the usual straightforward operation.
One of the manufacturers that express concerns with problems the industry is facing is SAF-Holland.  The director of lift gate sales in North America for SAF-Holland in the name of Bill Rector explains that the liftgate industry is dealing with two important concerns: reducing power consumption throughout the liftgate operation and corrosion prevention.  The concern on reducing power consumption is brought on by anti-idling laws passed in states across the U.S and the corrosion prevention arise due to exposure of lift gates to the highly corrosive chemicals used in pre-treating roads in areas where snow and ice are prevalent.
Manufacturers like Holland continue to improve liftgate designs to enhance operating efficiency while minimizing power consumption and improving battery upturn while boosting.  Bill Rector also emphasizes to look for design features like rollers with sealed roller bearings that can lessen friction during liftgate operation thus reducing battery drain, in effect more operating cycle per charge.  Quality charging system will improve the battery recovery and life.
